Räume mit Aussicht

In early September 2022, the underground concrete hall of Silent Green in Berlin was transformed into a “Room with a View.” The opening ceremony, inaugurated by State Minister Claudia Roth, marked the beginning of a two-day program featuring concerts, speeches, panel discussions, and an exhibition showcasing the Villa Aurora scholarship holders.

all the lonely people

On the occasion of Villa Aurora’s 25th anniversary, VATMH presented an exhibition in Berlin and Los Angeles exploring the themes of loneliness, melancholy, longing, as well as physical and mental retreat. The exhibition was accompanied by an extensive program of readings, concerts, and performances. Following the exhibition, a publication featuring essays and poems from former Villa Aurora fellows on the exhibition’s themes was released by Spector Books.

Last Days of Summer

In response to the COVID-19 pandemic and the associated restrictions in the event sector, we invited everyone to spend the last warm summer evenings on the rooftop terrace of Radialsystem V, enjoying a cool drink, readings, and conversations with Villa Aurora scholarship holders. The evenings were hosted by literature moderators from the RBB radio station radioeins.
