As a passionate advocate for cultural and intellectual exchange, I have built a successful career in the non-profit sector. Since 2013, I have been the Program Manager and Communications Officer at Villa Aurora & Thomas Mann House e.V. in Berlin, where I have spearheaded innovative event series like “Rooms with a View” and digital initiatives such as the mobile app “Exit Exile.” These projects have showcased my ability to effectively collaborate with service providers, developers, event personnel, artists, and public institutions.
My diverse background in journalism, literary studies, and photography has equipped me with the skills and perspective needed to capture the essence of various events and organizations. I have had the privilege of working with renowned institutions and initiatives, including Poesiefestival Berlin, Wortgarten Festival, DFL-Stiftung, Open Mike, Microsoft Berlin, the Goethe-Institut, Vice, the European Democracy Lab, Volksentscheid Fahrrad, Haus für Poesie, and Publixphere, among others.
I hold a master’s degree in Modern German Literature Studies and a B.A. in Art History, which I obtained through my studies in Berlin and Siena. To further develop my photography skills, I attended seminars at the prestigious Ostkreuzschule für Fotografie in Berlin.
As a member of KOOK e.V., an independent non-profit network of artists, I actively contribute to the exchange of ideas and engage in debates about contemporary art trends. KOOK provides a platform for artists to grow and develop through various formats such as reading series, concerts, festivals, and exhibitions, supporting the arts community as a whole.
My passion, diverse skill set, and extensive experience in the cultural sector drive me to create meaningful connections and promote the exchange of ideas across various disciplines and communities.
